form what I have seen is 1.6 lag 2's have either 280 or the 300 mm discs. The 1.8's, 2.0's, 1.9's are 300 or 308's. The 2.2's and v6's are always 308 but I am sure I have seen 2 thicknesses for the 308 discs, but I may be thinking of something else.
The good side with the silverstone 17 inch wheels on

And the other side where I couldn't fit the fourth wheel and my youngest Sophie getting into the car for another shot at driving daddies car, she can steer it pretty accurately now, not bad for 2 years old.

Cambelt was easy enough, the hardest part was in all honesty removing and refitting the single 10mm bolt that holds the main belt cover on, it was fingertips only then a case of putting the spanner on and letting it go so it swung down then dropped off and repeat. Took less than 2 hours to get the tools out, jack it up, get it apart, back together and an oil and filter change.
Here a pic of it running with the new belt before being finished up

The eagle eyed among you will notice the jump lead. Turns out the only earth I have on the engine/box is that small one that bolts to that mount. I assume the other main one has rotten away and snapped. Never bothered looking, I'll just add another beefy earth direct from the battery.
