I've been asked by a friend (I've suggested he joins the forum) if anyone has an instrument cluster for a phase 1 Safrane 2.5 Diesel. He apparently shorted it and blew the circuit board. I think it is the unit with the temperature display etc.

I would guess the same panel is used on maybe another version,not just a TD,but its finding the model,if you can get a pic of it?
Maybe a 2.5 petrol is the same?

If you mean phase 2 then it won't be. They're unique to the phase 2 and use VDO units. The phase 1s (the ones I've seen at least) see to have smaller side units for things like the oil pressure.

Also aren't they coded to the car? - That could make life difficult.

Sorry,silly me,its a phase 1...
I have a few V6 instrument panels,send me a pic and i can see if its the same?
They are not coded to the car,but the MPH etc maybe higher on a v6 but not sure.
