170k is still quite a lot for a renault diesel though 610, those cars never had volvo lumps in them. That said, I did meet a guy once in a kent car park who was driving a diesel ph2 and as battered as it was he said his father had owned it and despite the astronomical mileage it was the best car they'd had. His father gave it to him and despite looking like an old dog he couldn't bring himself to scrap it (funny that lol). He also reckoned it was the most reliable car he'd ever had so apparently renault can do it when they choose to..

I personally still wouldn't want to chance it just because it's a renault lump.. but that chap mentioned above isn't the only person to swear by their safrane diesels.

Blimey this is rare..
I actually think this is the rarest diecast for any Safrane even over the Long cours diecast which is limited to 100 only.

I'm still wanting to know what happened to the presidential safrane that was on ebay a year or two back.

Bullet proof, pimped engine, intercom, limo version.. oh and flag holders at the front.

I'd of had it if i had the money... stunning car that one..

Another late car with the cream leather. Highish mileage and a few dents.

Same seller also had a 2.5 phase 2 for sale again both cars have gone through E-bay a few times now,the 2.5 had more interest than this one.
