Hi all We had some downtime yesterday which is rare! This was a glitch caused on my friends server where the site is hosted. It was apparently a software malfunction caused by a reconfiguration of sorts. Apparently it didn't cause any problems at the time but decided to play up several hours later! Anyhow once I contacted him he managed to sort it quickly (bless him - it was a saturday night!) but I will be closing the forums for a short while at some point in the next week or two while I take a database backup. The joy and pain of upgrading server... So there was a reason behind the downtime and not just some some admin fairies tripping on a power cord at the DC |

It wasn't an upgrade it was another site being added to the server and somehow he fluffed it. So what do you drive then? |
