Hey guys

I've removed the sils twice on breakers but never successfully without breaking the little clip thingys that hold the sils to the bottom of the car.

Can anyone tell me how to undo them properly without breaking them? - Or are they disposable only?

Thanks ;)

I know exactly what you mean, the clips has a small screw in the middle that needs to come out first the you push the clip out from behind, the centre screw acts as an item that flares out the tabs on the main clip and holds it there, most break or don,t come apart correctly.

Oh you're thinking of the sills at the end by the wheel arch liner.

I'm talking about the plastic clips under the car that hold the sils to the chassis.

yes under the sills (eg under the doors) there are little pastic clips that hold the plastic sil cover to the metalwork - from the front to the back wheel.

If i remember i will take a photo tomorrow for you..

This is what i mean - there is no screw that you mention!

It just seems to be a plastic knob in the middle... which breaks off!

So how do i get these out without damaging them? - Or are they disposable that have to be replaced and if so with what?

Thanks ;)

Thats interesting, you have the later type on that, you have to push the little pin in the middle out then squeeze the clips from behind and push out, phase 1 has a screw in the middle, but does the same job,do you have a clip joining the front/rear sill mouldings at the base of the B post?
