Well i decided it was time to take the V6 to work today(bone dry and sunny)for a few hours of pampering,firstly the bonus of course of being in a workshop is the facilitys so its up in the air for a good look over underneath,and a good coating of waxoyl/oil etc to keep any nastys at bay,after a bit of time sparaying everything it was dripping for about 3 hours!,but after that i did the fuel filter and cheaked all other things,it looks a bit messy,but this is because of the antirust products. I give it a full service,oil,air,fuel,s/plugs and oiled,greased nearly everything,once lowered i finished anything that needed doing then did an A/C regas,the recovery was good with little loss which is a result,lastly a few pics i took including the laquered wood and all ready to be tucked away again,its done 5 miles(yes 5 )since i last serviced it,but it needs doing yearly,as its got full history since new,a waste of time/money but it didn,t cost much and i,ve kept the service history up to date. |
