Odd how the starter motor caused an immobiliser active warning though.. but like i said these cars are very quirky.

That happens with the ph2 aswell. When the fuel filter gets blocked up and can't supply fuel quick enough to the injection rail then the pressure doesn't build as highly as it should quick enough and it spits out a "Ignition system malfunction" message. Unfortunately to change the feckin filter requires a special ren-oh tool to disconnect the pipes. It also requires some delicate thinking about unscrewing the filter bracket which is part of the fuel tank... and there are two tiny little screws which rot away
