The wood does look much better highly polished as Baccara style.

Are phase 2 wood just clipped on?,i,am sure Phase 1 is bolted on,so you have to remove all the doorcards?

Hi there, it was a long time ago when i took all the pieces out to polish them, but i do remember i removed just a couple of pieces at a time to work on but most of them are screwed on so the door cards have to be removed. Only the pieces forward of the front door handles were held on by one screw at the front.

That is correct. Most is bolted on. However, I found there was no real need to take everything off. I did mine 'in situ' and the results are the same. If anything, it is actually easier to work on the bits when they are held in place.

A nice tidy looking car you have there Lee. Obviously a late car. Do tell us more about you and the car! ;)

These are Baccara panels I *think* fitted to his V6 ph1 safrane. I'm sure SAFRANEV6RXE will be able to tell you more!

Yes theses are genuine Baccara wooden trims, they are all real wood and are all bolted onto the panels, not glued or clipped on,you have to remove the whole centre console to replace the radio flap, the rest take seconds to change but the console is a pain.

Hi there, the existing 'plastic' wood would certainly need to be polished to a high gloss to try and match the real stuff! Certainly worth it though.

I have always thought the biggest mistake they made for the bi-tyrbo etc was to puyt even more wood in the car.

I think it looks horrific.
