The Delphi injector pump give up the ghost this morning,lovely jubbley.Got towed home,again .
Pulled the filter,poured the diesel out and ran a magnet through it,yep full of swarf.I had been warned,and I remember why I stepped away from Renault in the nineties,the price of replacement parts.
So my question,before I either spend a fortune on a new/reconditioned pump and spend a fortune of time cleaning tank and/or replacing lines and injectors,is there another pump that will fit,other than a Delphi? Or is there an improved version and if so what would the part number for it. For more details : whiteboard animation
